• Standard delivery of Home Furnishings, Fashion and Accessories in Australia under $150 is a flat rate of $10.
  • Delivery of Home Furnishings, Fashion and Accessories to New Zealand is $25 for all orders 5kg or under. 
  • It is your responsibility to provide a secure, attended, delivery address. All parcels require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure you enter your correct contact details. Additional charges will apply if parcels are returned due to being incorrectly addressed. Laura Ashley will not be responsible for wrongly entered contact details. 
  • Delivery is free for orders over $150.00 online to specified metropolitan areas, in Australia only. Product exclusion are: Furniture, Kent Footstools, Mirrors, Rugs, Fabric, Micro fibre range, Made to Measure and Upholstery.
  • We aim to deliver Home Furnishings, Fashion and Accessories that are in stock online within 10-15 working days of accepting your order in Australia. However, delivery times are not guaranteed.
  • Purchases of multiple products may be delivered separately (but without affecting the delivery charges you agreed to at the time of purchase). 
  • It is expected that New Zealand parcels will reach their destination within two weeks; however, some destinations may require additional time allowed for parcels to arrive.
  • For delivery of Furniture, Mirrors and Upholstery products you will be contacted via phone or email to arrange a suitable time for delivery.
  • Furniture, Made to Measure and Upholstery orders all incur a delivery fee, which is provided at the time of purchase online for Metro delivery address only. This will be based on the items ordered, quantity and where you live. If you are outside the Metro area, you will be contacted by phone within 2 working days with a delivery fee which will be processed over the phone.
  • Please note that Furniture, Made to Measure and Upholstery deliveries may be limited to specific days in your delivery area due to carrier availability. We are unable to agree to specific requested delivery times and dates.

  • In most instances delivery can be completed by the driver, unassisted. A two-person delivery crew can be made available by prior arrangement. Delivery is to your room of choice, provided there is ample and safe access. Please assist us by clearing pathways and removing fragile items in advance of delivery.
  • Any visible damage to the products or your property caused as a result of delivery must be reported to Customer Service immediately. We will not accept liability for visible damage not reported within three days of delivery.
  • For Self Assembly Furniture, you are required to sign and acknowledge receipt of the packaged products.
  • It is your responsibility to advise us of any non-standard delivery circumstances that may apply when ordering as additional delivery charges may apply on deliveries:
    • above ground level;
    • requiring more than one delivery driver (where we were not informed in advance),
    • requiring a small van for access; and
    • in any other exceptional circumstances.


Before ordering, please carefully check that the Upholstery and Furniture Products you have ordered will fit into the intended space in your home:

1. Measure your space

Check the dimensions of the space in which the product will be placed
  • Allow for skirting boards especially in recesses, door or window frames, and headroom under any unusual spaces such as sloping roofs.
  • When ordering a sofa bed, recliner or any extending item (e.g. a dining table), remember to consider your Product’s size when opened.
  • Product dimensions shown are taken from the largest or widest point
  • H = Height, W = Width, D= Depth.

2. Measure access to the space

Measure any staircases, doorways or corridors the product will have to pass through, including space for manoeuvring and turning:
  • This is especially important on bulky products as they require extra space for manoeuvering during delivery, all measurements should be carefully checked.
  • To protect your Products, wherever possible we deliver into the delivery address fully boxed and packaged.

3. Let us know about any access restrictions

Please let us know at time of order if there are any access restrictions or special needs, which must be considered to ensure a successful delivery.
  • Our delivery vehicles can be large. Please check that they can gain safe and ample access to or immediately adjacent to the delivery address.


Some of our products are designed to be assembled by the customer at home. Assembly is simple and instructions will be supplied with the product. On delivery of these products, you will only have to sign for the packaged products on delivery.
